Encased Ember

common

Encased Ember is a common artifact in Monster Train 2. Its game-data effect is:

Gain 5 Ember when a Tomb unit dies.

“It seems that throughout the existence of the Waxen Arches, everything has fallen victim to wax encasement. Not even the Ember of the Pyre has been spared, though I’ve collected any I’ve seen trapped to free them again later.”

B

Build specialists. Five Ember is a huge payout, but the deck needs a Tomb it can kill repeatedly rather than a one-time trigger.

Best with: Melting Remnant Tomb, Endless and Reform loops.
